Gold in D3 is like the US Dollar....

It's nothing like the USD.

Decreasing in value.

How is gold decreasing? One of the ways it's entirely different to the USD is that it's regulated with a price floor, the USD is floated.

Think about it,

No, you.

The US keeps printing more money lowering the value

Unlike the D3 Gold currency, which is entirely user generated and has an exchange price floor so can't decrease in value relative to the USD, meaning gold remains stable while the price of ITEMS is actually changing.

Not a hard idea to grasp....

Apparently it is

thanks Obama <33

It has literally nothing to do with Obama...
But there is a long list of things you can thank him for, not the least of which being saving the world from a McCain/Sarah Pailin government.

ever wondered about the actual value of a single dollar?

if your debt is 1b dollars and the value of that 1b dollar (e.g. what you can do with that money) is decreasing, so is the value of your debt. In fact inflation is a good thing for those who have debts

sorry if i went a little economy 101 on this

Interest free debts sure.

nearly all debt (other than loans from your dad) comes with an interest rate far higher than inflation, meaning anyone with debt is actually falling behind faster than those without debts. This is almost alway the case for individuals - other company/government debts may differ greatly.

Gold is not stable LOL
But seriously are you guys arguing over the fact that the dollar is decreasing in value every day? LOL

JUST LOOK!!

30 years ago you could buy a gumball package for 25 cents now for 1 gumball is it 25 cents.

INFLATION INFLATION INFLATION

Diablo 3 market

INFLATION INFLATION INFLATION

It is simple the US IS PRINTING MORE MONEY
Diablo 3 basically IS PRINTING MORE GOLD.

If this is to big of an idea for you guys to grasp, K-12 must had been a major struggle for you.

WITH A PRICE FLOOR?

You have officially gone full retard

Gold is not stable LOL

Last I played gold hovered between 25c/m to 28c/m, seems stable to me.

What isn't stable is the value of items. Items are constantly inflating, more better items are dropping with no good items ever really leaving the economy. An item worth 1bill one week might drop to 100mil a few weeks or months later - you seem to take that to mean GOLD is dropping in value... somewhow...

Oh well, you're officially too stupid to be worth trying to debate with.

D3's inflation/deflation is simply a move in the equalibrium point, given the AH takes 15% of all trades, the higher inflation gets the faster gold is sapped from teh economy. Meaning unlike any real world currency, D3 gold is a stable economy with an equalibrium (allbeit one that moves regularly thanks to patching)

IRL inflation is limitless and has no equalibrium point, IRL inflation just keeps going up and always will under current economic systems/policy
