Jin helped me re-gear my monk from IceClimber / Lacuni to Nat's combo / fat bracers and EF, that was the best 50mil I spent in the AH.

On top of that, this build he suggested is easily upgradable.

hi, im also experimenting with that fist of thunder and cyclone build - still wondering about some noob questions..

i.e. offhand damage: does it really matter? in this build for example, would an upgrade in offhand dps (say +100 or 200) make any sense, or is it better to invest in more crit or dmg for the Mh?

i also saw that on higher mp levels, my monk did better with LOH/LS on two fast attack weapons (giving away some crit and dps).

DPS on either weapon matters unlike WW Barbs.

You want to get weapons that are high dps.

I don't get it, this is incredibly overpriced. There's a 300k budget monk build going around with the following stats:


67,302 dps

1.83 attacks per second

51% crit chance

253% crit damage

7,012 armor

40,769 hp

668 all res

627 life regen

6.00% life steal

2,858 life per kill

861 life on hit

18,067 health globe/potion bonus

24% move speed

got a link? or do you just have the stats memorized?

like 7k armor with out a shield on a monk is pretty much impossible.

and with a shield 6% life steal is impossible.

so id like to see how this guy pulls it off.
