1. I havn't played Dire Bats since before the initial VQ change, when it was very viable. (The top WD in the world was playing Dire Bats)
2. SW will negate 50% of your health pool or 3 seconds (with Jaunt) of damage, which ever comes first. This damage received is affected by DR (a fully buffed WD with decent gear will have ~700 AR, and 25% DR through Life Link/Jungle Fortitude). With SV, this leaves you with at most a 9 second window where you don't have SW available (even less if you're using Grave Injustice). This time should be allocated towards refreshing SH, resummoning dogs, and establishing position/setting up for your next SW. There is literally NO reason for you to die with 25% of every second of combat of SW uptime, SV, health globe pickups, potions, and massive skill DR. Increasing your health pool with increase the effectiveness of SW's damage absorb.
