A ofc

nados tick off ur off-hand speed and dmg from ur main hand u pick

I don't agree. With B the dps would be better overall. It has phisical damage whereas the dagger is holy damage. If you put SOJ or other items with added damage you will lose dps.

You deciphered my intricate secret code.

^^

guess that's the reason why pp still choose B. They like their Shown DPS to be high. However, they totally forgotten that it is a pseudo one.

I agree.

From what i know (correct me if im wrong), ww barb 80+% damage comes from Nado, and less than 20% damage comes from Whirlwind.
Nado damage = Strength * CC * CD * Average APS(from both mh & oh)
WW damage = Shown DPS

So ain't A a better choice?

you would lose a little AS with the sword but get much more dps. And nados aren't 80% of the dps. Maybe like 60%.

WW does way more dmg than before, so this is not accurate. But I'm pretty sure over 50% of the dmg comes from nados, whille WW should do 30-40% now. Your offhand dmg is a little more important now compared to prepatch. But keep in mind that lowering ur WW offhand dmg is ok aslong as you boost that nado dmg (like with this dagger).

Yes.

Nado ticks aren't an average, it's whatever weapon you last swung with, and since the WW & RLTW breakpoints are the same, it gets stuck where you're only producing MH nados or only producing offhand Nados for a period of time while you're WWing.

Don't listen to these morons and their "40% damage from WW", WW's damage got buffed by nothing but negligible amounts, and these morons will do nothing but lead you astray.
