Great path! i like to clear around desolate sands first tho usually get 5 stacks before the vault and 1-2 gobs!

Don't need any specific amount. I only have about +30% in gear, 75 from NV, and 30 from Paragon atm.

I do well enough when it comes to finding legendaries/good rares/etc

Been running this one myself and it rocks!

If you are running with alot of friends i also reccomend splitting up and get the 3-4 elites packs in Desolate Sands and Daghlur Oasis(sometimes you get good event and flooded cave)

I've never tried this before, but after your run is over, can't you go kill Belial? It only takes 5 minutes, and you get 1 elite pack at the door plus belial himself usually drops 2-4 rares.

Then when you kill belial, run back to the Vault of the Assassin for the checkpoint. If you do that, will you be able to get the checkpoint in the Vault before leaving the game? Or maybe you can't get checkpoints from further back, I can't remember

Unfortunately no.

Once you advance into the city for Belial fight, those checkpoints overwrite the Assassin's Vault checkpoint, and you will need to once again find the Assassin's Vault.

Also, found another BK ring, and a 2soc Manticore last night in the black canyon mines
