Info is great. Vids explain the build very well. 10/10. Look forward to more info on this build.

~ Main question for me is whats the best gear to aim for? even though the cheap man version works.

What's the recommended amount of crit to start this build?

I currently have a high res barb with decent str, but no crit % or crit damage since those equips seem to cost a ton. How much should I get?

edit: and LoH, since that seems to be the only thing keeping you alive...

i started at 40% crit hit chance

my friends barb had 30% but he couldn't keep the infinite fury up

for Loh i don't know how much you should aim for but i have very low, around 800-900

i finished act2 inferno this morning but i need to upgrade to do act3

Ok the gear you want to aim for is first crit then loh, and as much as you can get. You can get this build started with probably around 30-35% base crit if you use overpower, though you'll have times where you do run rage dry. Being smart about getting sprint tornadoes to drop is really key when you're not very geared. Getting 2 piece Nat's is highly recommended, I'd look for boots and ring, though they are excruciatingly expensive, Nat's 2 piece is very very strong. Once you have your crit up pretty high, and enough LoH to just keep you alive (I run with 1400), you can start investing in damage gear. Strength is a great base, and with your now massively high crit chance, bonus crit damage gear is godly. It's very possible to get your bonus crit damage upwards of 400%. Once you are doign some serious damage (even starting at 50k) character sheet, you can look into getting Life Steal gear. It is severely nerfed in Inferno (close to 8% character sheet = 1.2% in practice), but when youre hitting that hard that often, it's still a ton of life. When your damage ist truely godly, you can look into replacing the LoH from you weapons and rings with bonus crit or Life Steal, at that point the healing scales better with your damage than LoH does.

I think there is a pretty expensive mininum for this set. I just spent ~1m on crit gear to get to 30ish, and I barely managed to maintain about 300 LoHand 400 resistances.

To be able to find these stats is kinda....expensive.

Or i'm just REALLY poor.

Remember that if you use a Hammer/Mace mainhand you get 15% crit for free, and then another 5%, that's just for passives. Going from 25% (base) to 40% is not that financially demanding.
