agreed. they are working out the balance though, i think eventually they want inferno to be seamless between acts, ie harder acts mean higher rewards. for now, a1 is best bc of efficiency. when the balance is right, i'd imagine different characters (ranged vs melee) will prefer different farming areas based on skills/gear/spec and likelihood of survival.

One of the reasons act1 is better now is because the market is young. There is still a strong market for items below iLVL63. It won't take much besides time to make act3/4 more viable for efficient farming.

I started this method this morning from casualy running into the watch tower on a run.
If this gets nerfed I will hang up d3 because it will be oblivious where they want this game to go.

I'm gonna try this, should we switch to mf gear before killing elites or champs, or have mf on your normal gear?

This. Eventually, there are going to be a lot more set items and all that jazz. The D3 economy is very young right now.

Don't use a separate set of MF gear. Get it on your main.

Yeah that doesn't add 2 mil gold per piece...


If you don't want Blizz watching then a public forum that's been extremely well known since D2 is not the place...
