Do you really not use Archon in Inferno? I'm only in act 4 hell, but I couldn't play without Archon. What is so different in Inferno that makes Archon not useable anymore?

just curious, what are your stats such as dps, life, and resists. would like to know what i should aim for

the fact that you need to be standing still to make archon actually useable combined with mobs that one shot you unless you stack resists, sacrificing damage

at what point does force armor become a must? I'm using prismatic in a1 inferno right now because i havent been hit hard enough to justify it yet.

Only done the first few quests in a2 so far

Already answered by the kind Sir Pulsing. You can't stand still, and Archon's only real ranged spell is channeled.



You shouldn't aim for my stats. I have put my spending on hold in fear of some sort of market collapse. It seems it's being flooded to the point where in a few day's time, 1k DPS weapon may drop to a million each or so. I've stopped upgrading my Wizard at 40k life, 46k DPS, 250 all res (really low--I have to move more so than others) and like 5k armor.

Around 6. I've forgotten exactly which Quest that is. I think it's the Path to The Oasis or something along those lines.

just tryed out this build its really good i recommend it.

Didn't even buy new gear and this is working for me with a slow 2h weapon. I can see where it will fail later on without the IAS but it is a solid build for surviving/kiting.
