It does take the uniqueness of builds away, though.

as stated above, the "uniqueness" was: max life

one exception, es sorc: max mana

wow awesome system, takes away clicking on 'vitality'...

I just spent a half hour looking for the link again but there was a post saying that Stats were allocated automatically and you have no control over it.
If this is true, and it looks legit, then fuck DIII. First they change the skill tree system that wasn't broken, second they don't even let you distribute your own attributes point. Total horseshit!

If this is confirmed true, I'm not buying World of Diablo.

It seems all Blizzard wants to do is take what everyone loved about D2 and trash it.

People are going to be good because they spent a lot of time playing, not because they know they're doing.
The gap between the Noobs and the Pro's is disappearing because Blizzard wants to play the fair mommy card.

This!
This is no good that the noobs are equalized to people who know what they're doing. And everyone decided themselves which one of the build is the best. This way YOU can play how YOU like it, not like Blizzard set you to play.

Nope. You're an idiot just like OP.

But those who choose not to play diablo 3 because of this were obviously diablo 2's noobs who thought they get diablo 2 because they spent hours and hours doing baal runs and getting enigma. Who needs a degree in game design when you have that, right?

Bottom line, you think diablo autostats ruin the variety, and you won't play? Then GOOD RIDDANCE.

There still were so many build where you could experiment with stats. If you see paradise in things that you've been set not choosed by youself then you are a major dokney.

Said the '10 one. Definitely you're major noob who doesn't even know how to build some real char, of course you like it when they just put stats automatically.

Good argument.

People that think auto-stats takes away variety and creativity really need to look at the D2 builds that didn't use the same cookie-cutter build:
- Zons put some in Dex for damage
- ES Sorc puts some in Energy for mana
- Any char with shield puts in Dex for max block

How much variety is really being taken away? 95% of the builds were the same thing in D2, so it really isn't a big deal if we can't choose anymore.
