you're just used to jsp and too conditioned to know better. this website is a symptom of how flawed and fucked the trading system in d2 was. the d2 loot system and d2jsp trading is antiquated and wildly inefficient.
from a game developer's standpoint, there are no positives that come from players putting in no time/effort, and instead giving cash to a 3rd party to get all the gear they want. it doesn't benefit the developer or the players.
loot 2.0 and kanai's cube is a simple system working in spectacular fashion. the fact that you have to put in (honestly very little) work to gear up a character spooks the fuck out of a lot of lazy and incompetent players, and draws in players who enjoy not having to rely on the incompetents to get what they need.
lets not even mention pre-loot2.0 because that was a disaster. fortunately, blizz learned a harsh lesson from that and capitalized.
everybody has their opinions, but consider the possibility you might be very stuck in an outdated mindset like some sort of stockholm syndrome. don't be misled by the fact that most posters here are also stuck in the very same way.
