I remember two years ago when I was able to take a regular Bul Kathos two piece sword set and it took several tries at the Kanai's Cube, but after a few months it finally gave me an ancient version of both. But either I'm not seeing the same thing or they removed that particular recipe?

And if they did remove it then I guess I'll either have to find it myself or get lucky from Kadala using blood shards? I've found one Bul Kathos sword already (plain one). I've found a few ancient set items but they are few and far between obviously. I'm trying to figure out how I can find better gear without having to grind the greater rifts all the time. I did like 40 runs last night and reached 225 paragon points. It wore me out and I haven't played today. I'm going to play a little in an hour or so.

My previous heroes were only at 687 paragon points when I was gone from the game for two years. I may be able to reach halfway there pretty soon. Let's say I reach 800 paragon points this season. Will that add to my previous 687 for 1487 total or do they only add a percentage of that?

I guess I need to keep farming. I enjoy the bounties more than I do rifting.
It feels good when I can help other people. I see many with less than 100 paragon points.
I'm trying to help the players that are even worse than me so that they can become better than me.

JJ Watt hates D3 because no Shako.

JJ Watt wears Shako.

Both the reforge legendary and upgrade rare recipes in the cube can make ancient items. The reroll set piece can not, but it never worked on 2 piece sets like bul kathos anyways.

It adds your XP to nonseason, not number of paragon points... so it will be less, as the higher levels take more XP to reach.

I finally got my bul kathos two piece sword set but neither of them are ancient items.
But it's good enough for now until I upgrade. The dungeon set is incredibly hard.
They made the dungeon for the wastes set a really strange and odd one to complete.

Yeah OP, you can gamble ancients. They are pretty rare but possible.

Is there a way to speed up the process of trying to score a particular ancient set item?'
Or is it all just a matter of random luck mostly? I'm going to hit 300 paragon points right now.
Hopefully I'll be able to solo a level 40 greater rift soon. My gear still needs several upgrades.

Reroll with 5 mat recipe, or upgrade rare in cube.

I wouldn't survive in hardcore. Already died six or seven times.
I'm still not strong enough to finish a level 45 greater rift.
Only 330 paragon points. I need to find ancient items really badly.

Hardcore does not have different drops anyways. The only difference is you can't play your character again if you die.
