blood shards? upgrading rares in cube? or just monster drops?

I don't know if this is fact or not, but I am fairly sure it effects gambling and monster drops only.

MF does help, but the way diablo 3 is set up it may actually be more beneficial to farm a lower difficulty or the same difficulty faster than it would be to equip MF gear and farm slower.
There also isn't that much MF gear in D3 as compared to d2 or the early days of d3.

No equip gear that will make you clear rifts as fast as possible.
A must have is the bracers that make a rare mob spawn when you pop a shrine.

I mean when I'm using blood shards to buy items not when I'm doing the actual grift :bonk:

I remember reading somewhere the blood shard purchases are not effected by MF and level or it was mf and difficulty.
