So I haven't played since like 2 weeks after release.

Whats the tl:dr of whats changed?

no trading - everything is boa
no build diversity - you are only allowed to play sets
no one plays/watches it - look at twitch
no bot protection - its basically allowed to bot
no endgame - you can only grind xp in groups 24/7
you get endgame gear in like 2-3 days

no addon in sight and there wont be one any time soon.

this is probably coming from a guy that has played it for at least a year.
if you've never played it, u will probably have fun for a few weeks. if u don't own it i suggest not buying it tho.
i play it for around 2-4 weeks at the beginning of every season but that's about it. been playing on and off since beta and its usually hype at the start of every season then dies a month after. seasons last i think 3-4 months? don't quote me on that

Every class has multiple good builds and sets. It's only natural that one build/set rises above if you're playing competitively. It's your choice to use the best of the best.


Who is this relevant for? iirc you have to stream often enough to generate a consistent number of 500ish viewers to get partnered, regardless of what game you're playing. I'd be curious if there are even 5 jsp users partnered on twitch for any game.


You can bot all you want until the end of the season when the ban wave hits. If you don't care about your account being deleted and your character removed from the leaderboards, then sure, you can bot.


End-game is greater rift leaderboards for single, 2-man, 3-man, and 4-man groups. Grinding is only really tedious at the tip top of the leaderboard. You can make it on the top 1k leaderboard as a casual player. Getting to 800 paragon isn't that hard and by the time you reach that you can probably make it in the top 500.


What an odd exaggeration. My WD is paragon 925 and I still don't have ancient items in 5 slots.
