I'm just looking for some general direction .. so I'm PL 55, I have the 6 pc wizard set, and no other real useful stuff. I'm not sure what I should be doing. Do I mainly just farm the 25 bounties and make sure to always do the one with the double reward first? Should I be stockpiling Rift Keys?

What about stuff like Hellfire Amulets and Rings and the Cube and all that advanced stuff?

How do I know when I can move up from Torment 1 without fearing I'll die instantly?

How do I complete the set dungeon?

U want find items so you can progress in difficulty. The goal is to be able to farm t10 efficiently. Either Tal Rashas Set of Delsurs set are what you want.

You are going to want a cube. It's very important cause it gives you 3 extra item slots where you extract legendary power from items.

Bounties are really only useful to get pieces so you can break items down in the cube... U don't need to really do them unless you want to break a legendary in the cube to extract its power.

On hardcore you want to use unstable anomaly as a passive and 2 piece firebirds. Both stop you from dying.

If you have full firebirds the jump past t1 should be easy.

Set dungeons aren't important at this point.

Hellfire ring and amulet is useless on a Wizard.

Again you want to be farming rifts for keys, maxing your armor gems, then using those keys to level gems that the RG drops.

So what set am I trying to farm or move onto at this point?

What should I spend my Blood Shards on?

Should I actually be using my Greater Rift keys, or just stockpiling them?

You want to be farming Tals Set initially in order to use the Flash Fire Wand of Woh Spec. http://www.diablofans.com/builds/70620-s5-torment-x-wohrasha-db-farming

It is the best for t10 farming. I would focus the set more around toughness than overall dps because after all... you are running Hardcore. You can craft wand of woh's in the cube with 50 of each mat, 25 death breaths, and a rare lvl 70 wand.

So spend your shards on Tals Pieces.

I would use 40 or so GR keys initially so you can level the 3 gems you need.

In terms of team play and high GR solo play... Delsurs set is what you want. Problem is ancients are much rarer to find that Tals so a good set takes longer to accumulate.

So immediate goal is to farm Tal Rasha comfortably around T4 until I get the full set, then complete the set dungeon, then start doing TX

Ultimate goal is to get 6 pc Ancient Delsurs (I think I actually have an ancient helm for this ... was the first set item I got at 70 and it's just sitting in my bank )

Looks like the gems are largely the same for all builds so that's good

So do I need to actually get these legendaries or I just construct them in the cube ... ? What about the other 7 uses of the cube?

well... you can find them, blood shard them... tals pieces are common except the amulet. if you find multiple of one tals piece you can re-roll the bad one into the tals piece you need in the cube.

i recommend using your mats to roll rare wands because WOH is very rare in game... I've found 2 or so in 1k paragon levels but have rolled 10+ in 200 rolls in the cube.

the set dungeon doesn't gain you anything... its just a side quest.

But the season portrait and pet ...

When you say roll rare wand, do you mean I'm creating something in the cube? Or you mean to use 75 shards on a 1-H weapon from Kadala?

.. and one minute after I wrote this, I got an ancient chest from the Delsurs set, so that's 2 Ancient pieces already

Should I be using my gold for the chance at a 4th upgrade?

It's rough once the gems are at 20, because I'm capping out around Grift 22 (that I'm comfortable with) so the upgrade chance is 10%

well you get heaps of gold so no point not using it
