Diablo is the only thing i lag on. PC is less than 6 months old, runs all my other games just fine

just constant d/c and horrible lag spikes on diablo 3. anyone else ever experience this or know a fix?

If you're on windows make sure d3 and battle.net installer/loader are added as exemptions on your windows firewall.

Also, run the game on low settings with vertical sync turned on.

Nothing you can do, it's most likely due to a bad "hop" in your traceroute from your ISP to the Battle.net server (in other words, it's most likely due to the way your ISP routes your traffic to Battlenet and you can't fix it, the ISP has to fix it).

It's a known issue if you visit the diablo3/blizzard forums and there is not much you can do unless you're willing to use a VPN (which is not advised or endorsed by Blizzard).

is there a tutorial how to setup a VPN? I never used one so i didn't know how to setup it wtih diablo 3.

Yes I exp. 3000ms lag spikes for 1 tick in the game every minute or so while playing D3. I figured out it was Diablo 3 server giving me the high ms by running a ping test on the D3 server IP

I have called them on the matter and all they do is blame it on the ISP. (I figured they would)

I cant even play HC D3 cause if I spike in game I could die and lose char.

I quit D3 cause of it. Best choice I made yet. Now I play games that dont lag and its great.
