So, from reading a few topics I understand there is no pvp, but how is the end game pvm? Interested to know mostly about hardcore.

Is there ladder? How many different runs can I do that will actually be worth it? I quit when it was the shit to be able to solo act 3 on inferno, before paragon level was even a thing, so please any update will be nice.

no one takes it serious, if you want some kind of competition you would need to play softcore.
hardcore is only for real arpg games like poe, games with cheat death procs cannot be hardcore.

pvm endgame is basically just running grift55+ in groups just so you can do a week worth of high grift rng spamming at the end of the season.

i went HC and never looked back. Diablo HC is true HC since once you are dead, no char rolling to SC like PoE
Grift leaderboards is ladder - rankings

yeah because waiting until one of many cheat death proc cooldowns is down is really hardcore.
its like in modern fps games with regenerating life, you just wait in a corner until your life(in this case proc) is up so you can proceed playing.

but keep telling yourself that you are playing something challening lol

well when you are pushing grifts and waiting 1 min for cooldown that grift will be fail probably
HC is more challenging then SC, cause there is lots of challenging situations when you get proc passive but you can still die

I wouldnt bother with HC in d3, in d2 it had the right challenge in lets say classic mode.

this is right. If u wanna play this boring game, only way to have at least little fun/challenge is HC.

..I will never understand ppl pushing very high grifts and dies several times. There could be some challenge if grift will close after u die.

As crappy as the game is compared to when it has trade, HC is still the only thing worth playing..the concept of fearlessly building glass cannons and not having any reason to worry about positioning, elite affixes or any form of tactical play sounds boring as fuck.

Have played sc sincr may 2012
