Since OP couldn't be bothered to tell us what to farm instead: All the crafting mats, souls, puzzle rings and bovine bardiches. Apparently transmuting puzzle rings and bovine bardiches will open portals to the vault and whimsyshire respectively, if anyone wanted to do that I guess. You'll need extra stuff to extract legendary properties but those won't come out til patch hits. If you're looking for a certain legendary, farm the rare version for it and you can transmute rares to legendaries. IE farm rare 1 handed xbows to try your luck transmuting to calamity or whatever the fuck. There's more to it but I'm just listing what to farm.

They're giving us the ability to roll rates into legendaries??

Roll rares into legendaries.
Reroll legendaries (ie: My Furnace sucks, so I will reroll the stats over and over until it's good)
Reroll set items into different slots from that set (ie: I found Firebird helm but need Firebird shoulders, I now can try to roll the helm into a shoulder slot)

Basically they didn't think the game was easy enough as it is, now you just need to find one of each item and reroll it until it's perfect. Games fixed.
