Hey.

Currently I just have life steal on one of my weapons and now I finally have some budget to get an echoing fury. I'm trying to decide whether I should get life steal on echoing fury or just go full damage? Since life steal is so expensive on echoing fury I won't be able to get high damage and it's probably going to result in a dps loss for me.
I kinda just want to go for a non life steal echoing fury and try to get more tank stats on other items to compensate for that.

What are your thoughts? Will my monk suck without double life steal? http://eu.battle.net/d3/en/profile/Molek-2259/hero/15999689

You're at 33k life, 140k dps

use double life steal if you want to see higher mp's.

you can sacrifice LS for pure damage when you get closer to 350k unbuffed dps. (and even still reflect packs will eat you alive)

running double life steal on monks is always a sound idea, although the higher sheet dps is tempting, you're only doing yourself a disservice buy running single LS.

I was at 305K, 5300 armour, 600 all res, 56K life ... single LS weapon is not enough for nasty reflects with multiple ground effects.
Go dual LS or weapon swap when you engage a nasty pack.

Sad to sell my 100cd EF os ... but, got some good $

you could get some loh from amu + ring along with single ll, dual ll would be better, but some loh would definitely make things bit easier. imo you should get more life what ever you decide on the leech issue

thats health globes.

lets say you have 700 all res and 7000 armor

thats .3*.3*.7 = .063

now say you have 3% life steal = .6 in inferno

that means vs a reflect pack you take 630 dmg for ever 100k you do but only leach back 600 life.

in this situation 500 life on hit would make a huge difference, though so would another 3% life steal.

Uh... Do u know what 5.4% (0.2) x 2 million is?

21,600.

21600 life gained with 5.4% life steal in inferno with a single 2 million damage hit...

I've seen 5 mill crits with bells, and constant 500k crits with regular hits.

Which would be 5400 life which is Constant...
