Raw damage is low as hell, the IAS on the Sword makes up for some of the attack speed.

i imported my char into this calculator http://theasiangamer.com/d3-damage-calculator/

with sword, screen damage is 159684, mainhand dmg 67577
with dagger, screen damage is 148132, mainhand dmg 74624

difference in screen damage is 11552 in favour of sword. 7.8% more damage
difference in mainhand damage (which contributes to tornado damage) is 7047 in favour of dagger. 10.4% more damage.

i hit 26 ticks MH 30 ticks OH tornado breakpoints with either one.

Don't listen to retards, dagger will be better actual DPS, but sword will be more sheet dps.

i gess you mean onscrean dps and avarage weapon hit damage?

to know effective damage, you also need to look at the situation you are in
mp0, 1 nado and 1 ww are giving damage, couse monster die in 0.5sec (sword is better)
mp10-boss: 3nado and 1 ww are giving damage (dagger is better) couse monster die in over 3seconds, and monster is so fat it stands in 3 nado
