I'm back to gaming barb now, although I decided not to use any fgs on him and gear is only what I could conjure up in couple of days from nothing

take the classic WW/nado setup to begin with - I will not explain here how that works, check the stickies

The build: (I would use the build generator online, but it doesnt seem to allow me to use revenge as main attack hmm?)
http://www.diabloprogress.com/hero/esajoram-2789/Rage/2632621

skills spelled out:
Revenge - Best served cold (left mouse)
WW - Hurricane (right mouse)
Sprint - Run like the wind
Overpower - Killing spree
Battle rage - Into the fray
Wrath of the berserker - Thrive on chaos

Passives:
Ruthless, Weapons master, Unforgiving

and now the modifications:

1. Use full 5*IK armor parts
2. besides for ruthless & weapons master now choose 3rd passive to be either unforgiving or animosity
--> unforgiving is my personal favourite
(3. Choose templar for 12% fury bonus if needed)
4.remove Bash --> add Revenge best served cold
(5. use overpower with killing spree if you already do not)

now whats so good about this?

1. Extremely high crit chance for DPS / fury generation
--> passives 15%, wotb 10%, killing spree 10%, revenge 10%, battle rage 3% = 48% total from skills alone
2. high fury regen = endless sprint

how do you use revenge in middle of WWing like crazy?

when you WW you will hold shift + right mouse button, so when revenge activates you willl just stop holding right button for a moment and revenge will be casted instantly as you come out of ww. If you do this in middle of monsters you also make damage and heal up (even tho its just a "10%cc shout" in this build).
--> you dont need to hit any monsters with revenge to gain bonus
--> if it triggers again while you have a revenge going on, do not cast the next right away, save it for a few seconds

I think this build is most well suited for the basic alkaizer running / mfing whatever mp (1-5) you like to do that with (I do mp3 with my crap gear usually)
If you really must go like above mp5 u will be in trouble with reflect perhaps unless both weapons have life leech (since your 3rd passive isnt bloodthirst now and this build doesnt have defensive shouts etc)

What budget do you need for this to work?
IK armor + ~10m gold
obviously the more the better

Why doesnt the barb get stuck when fury would run out?
1. because blizz lowered the cost of initiating WW in previous patches to 10 fury
2. because of extreme fury regeneration
3. because of very high CC

OK thats everything I think, enjoy :)

Looks good. Been running something along these lines too but i simply don't like that casting revenge is interrupted easily (even at 2 aps).

Additionally if you're running mp1 alk runs i'd drop wotb since it's kinda useless on mp1 and just pick up something like threatening shout (grim harvest rune).

gets interrupted, i dunno what u mean?
WOTB i'd never drop from a barb since u get immunity to control impairing effects & mass dps boost & more running speed :) (I run mp3 myself, when I get better weapons + amu etc one day then ~4-5)

revenge has an animation where you stop from whatever you are doing, is what he means

ah right, yes one cant cast while WWing like overpower but its well worth it

i read it but that doesn't stop monsters from interrupting you sometimes.

And on mp1 elites usually die so fast that they can maybe cast one freeze which is easily dodgeable and takes like 2 secs longer.

Regarding wotb.. if you're kinda low on fury when you meet an elite, the elite is usually already close to death when i got enough fury for wotb.

Wotb fastens the elite kill by maybe 3 secs and afterwards you got 20 secs of faster running. Not worth it in my experiences.

Grim harvest improves my look decently imo and i like having a fury generating ability so i got sprint up 100% of the time even if there are no monsters around . With just ik set and unforgiving you would have sprint up about 75% of the time w/i hitting anything

but when you're running on a higher mp than mp1 i'd definately take wotb in.

basicly you should choose the MP level to suit ur barbs DPS but i wrote 1-5 because its not designed for highest mp levels
the goal of WOTB / thrive on chaos is that it lasts 100% of the time (you raise APS until you can do this)

what comes to the running you basicly get back 4*3 * 1,12 (if templar) which is about 13,4 fury while one sprint costs 20 = -6,6 fury (Also notice that now u dont lose -1 fury like without unforgiving)
whenever you run in between fights its highly unusual to have totally empty furytank and if u try this one out you will notice that basicly ur always having enough to sprint
