(1) Be a tornado barb with sick gear. Spec for WotB // thrive on chaos and vanguard rune on frenzy. Run an offhand 300th spear for movespeed. You're going to try to hit 100% uptime on WotB. You can clear entire zones like this - my record is 8 minutes of uptime and 5 zones clear with a TP in the middle.

(2) Get 5 stacks. I like to use the arreat crater and stone front. Keep depths level 1 if not there yet.

(3) This is where it gets interesting: Equip a f 3-piece cain's set, hopefully with decent barb stats. You're going to lose a lot of life/damage/armor/resists. That's OK.

THE KEY TO THIS STRATEGY: You are not going to kill ANY MORE ELITE MONSTERS and you are going to let monsters die in your wake instead of sticking around to pick up loot. You will get very few rares... but you'll be blitzting through content at 98% movespeed and absolutely slaughtering the trash mobs who give you good xp. The elite monsters that you aren't killing will kite behind you providing a crazy amount of fury. Instead of taking their loot, we're using them to fuel an insanely long lasting WotB // perma-sprint build. Think of them like fury batteries // XP boosters instead of piniatas.

(3) Clear the following zones: The first battlements zone, the keep depths level 2, all of the bridge/outdoor areas, all of the crater levels. You can add other zones (side dungeons, tower levels, etc.) but they're less worthwhile.

(4) rinse and repeat.

The full run should take you between 15 and 25 minutes and net between 13 and 20 million experience. Without crazy gear you're going to die now and then, just always keep moving - don't run through large areas you've already cleared. If you die in keep 2, maybe zone into keep 3 and work your way in through the breach.

FAQ:

Why would I do this I want loot? That's fine. You'll get much better loot if you run MF gear or do normal elite killing. But this is (a) way more fun and (b) the paragon levels you get will help you to increase your farming efficiency later on. Remember, it's not one or the other - you can do a few hours of these then switch to your normal gear.

Why use cain's set instead of leoric's signet? Because I don't ahve 100-200M gold to blow on the ring. If I had one it would be awesome. I'm hoping people relize they can be farmed in a few hours and thus start flooding the AH with them. In the mean time I will be grinding mad paragon XP.

I can't clear act 3 in my normal gear, how do you expect me to do it wearing level 22 shit? "Clearing" act 3 is really about gearing for the elite fights. Skipping them makes things much easier. I would not be surprised if a player who struggles to get 5 elite kills can then zip through the rest of the run.

Yeah, it's a big trade-off. I wouldn't have tried this until today because I was so obsessed with trying to get new legendaries and this is NOT the way to achieve that, lol.

hey greate guide. i'm gonna try that out and mix it a bit with my way to lvl fast while having a lot fun.

1. i start with normal gear, go to both tower wps and run the circle -> 4 stacks guaranteed in 2-3 mins (while keeping up berserker all the time)
2. keeps 1-3
3. rakkis wp backwards to korsik wp
4. stoneford wp forward/backwards

i used to do after step 4 both arreat wps but i think its not worth it since u often end in a dead end and have to walk a lot.

its really fun since ur usually always on berserker in keeps 2 and from rakkis wp back to korsikk ur almost always up on berserker pew pew pew


gonna try to mix in some elements of your guide:

- keep the way to get 4 stacks initialy (and get another one to hit the 5)
- switch to cains set + take three hunder speer as offhand
- clear the areas u mentioned

i think the bonus exp from the set is very nice and the idea to keep up fury coz of elites following u is just great
