I have been asked this alot, so posting this for the ones who have not seen this.

Select the last quest in Act2. When you enter game, do not advance further into the city. Teleport back to town, and go to Desolate Sands.

Find the Assassin's Vault. You will receive a checkpoint, so now when you leave game and rejoin, you will always start here.

Clear the Assassin's Vault - Normall 6-9 Elites/Champs, possibly 1-2 Goblins.

After you have cleared the Vault, head back to town and follow this route for fast clears.

Sewers of Caldeum - 1 Champ/Elite and possible goblin.

Black Canyon Mines - 1-4 Champ/Elite and possible goblin.

Road to Alcarnus ---> Alcarnus 1-2 Champ/Elite

Path to Draugar(sp?) --> Enter the "Ruined Cistern" right next to the WP. 1-2 Elite/Champ, possible goblin. (I find the majority of my legendaries here)

ID your rare, and next game.

This route takes me about 15-20 minutes.

Found an Oculus Ring

and Manticore earlier in sewers

pretty good run

is there a reason you don't do any of the other spots? or is it due to the conflicting checkpoints and/or time vs number of champs

I don;t do any other spots because this specific route gives me the most champs/elites for time put in.

i can run about 17-25 champs within 15-25 minutes, and then next run. Also, checkpoints too but thats only if you wanna run belial

i thought when you enter sewers it clears the vault checkpoint with sewer checkpoint no?

Nope!

The only area that can erase the Vault checkpoint is if you head into the City towards the palace for Belial fight.
