Hey everyone, Happy Holidays! I was just wondering if anyone here have any recommendations on what is the best gaming headset out now? I would prefer wired over wireless. But if there is one that is wired and wireless at the same time, I wouldn't mind that either. I will use this headset mainly for FPS games such as warzone and maybe other FPS games like CSGO. I want a headset that will give me the best footstep sounds specifically. I have been using my ancient PS3 headset for warzone on ps4, and the sound quality of footsteps are not as great as it used to be. I just want a headset that will give me better surrounding awareness through sound. I am leaning towards buying a hyperx or an astro brand. But if there are any that you guys think is better, please comment or pm me. I would really love people's input so I can determine which headset to get. my budget is $100-$200. I would get nice headphones and a seperate mic, no reason to compromise both components just to get a headset

I don't know how that would work for the ps4.

I run the Corsair Virtuoso SE. Not even kidding the best head set ive ever used. brushed aluminum finish, rgb and they work with everything. ps4 / pc everything. seriously give then a look. search youtube and everything

i have always used Astro a50's wireless head set. Always holds a great charge for 12+ hours of game play! A bit pricey but i love mine.

I decided to get a Hyperx Cloud Alpha S . But I will definitely check out your headset!




I was either going for an Astros a40 or Hyperx Cloud Alpha S when I went to Bestbuy. But the only available a40s was the bundle with the MixAmp Pro TR. They cost like $200, and I wasn't sure if that MixAmp was worth the extra $100 since the Cloud Alpha S were only $100. I researched online and a lot of people were saying that the Cloud Alpha S were as good as the a40s, and that there wasn't much of a sound quality difference. So I went with the Cloud Alpha S.
