ever hear of the term "interp"

Each person is sending data signals to the server with time stamps, the server then verifies time stamps and sends back to form the reaction
Sometimes this can be read wrong which causes you to be hit or hit someone when it seems their off target, or behind a wall, etc etc

Not sure if cod is like this, this is from my cs experience

Magical bullets have been around for a long time. Doesn't have much to do bullet penetration, and more to do with lag. Either they're connection is that good, you aren't appearing on the servers properly, and showing up incorrectly in the game. Or the inverse. Tbh, in thousands upon hours of cod, I might see it every 100 games. Frustrating, but not a big deal. Play hxc. No replays to notice this :-P
