Hi gents,

Not really up-to-date with the latest headsets... need some suggestions on what ones to look?

Don't really have a budget but I obviously want the best value for money headset I can get.

Turtle beaches or tritons for budget

You don't need high end headsets
And you honestly can't tell much from $100 to the $250
I just need to hear footsteps and I hear them from a mile away with the $75 headset

Astros. I owned the original pair and recently upgraded to their new TR editions. Worth it

I owned TB x41s for about 5 years and Astro A40s about a month. I highly recommend the A40s with mixamp. They're wired, so no need to deal with batteries/charging. Wireless TB headsets are known for crackling due to interference. I can simultaneously hear/talk with people on console and skype on my computer. The audio adjustments on the mixamp are great.

My little brother has gone through about 5 pairs of Turtle Beaches and keeps on buying them

Just get the sony brand wireless headset. They're like 100 bones and are amazing since you get all the ap features through the ps4.

i owed astro a50s the wireless a40s for a couple years.. it was good but honestly not such a huge bonus over many headsets in the 100-150$ range.. i think i got some turtle beach stealths that barely have any noticeable difference.. only thing is astros had more compatibility where i could just plug into pc and use wirelessly

kingston hyperx cloud II, astros arent really worth it. they are nice but there is plenty of cheaper options that do just as well

astros are skull candy's with a bigger price tag F.y.i
