So I purchased this headset yesterday and everything works fine but the microphone... I've tried using it on the phone and it works but as soon as I try it on xbox one live, no one can hear me but I can hear them

Maybe ur xbox receiver is fried for ur sound try plugging in another device if it doesnt work as well theres ur issue
