fad's and arx's like mw2's acr... didn't even bounce...

Depends on the setup. Silencer and focus and it is steady no need for a foregrip

Ran into it two nights ago on 360. Kid could only ADS, had to throw on a sub class and start flanking him, it was impossible to fight outright.

Good thing he was terrible. He still went like 3:1 but we ended up winning.

you sure it just wasn't a fast drop? people using quickdraw who happen to hit chest/head shots can appear to not run into recoil issues. were they spamming a bunch and the entire spam had no kick?
