the game itself if pretty good but the community that plays cod now stinks. nothing but campers and quickscopers. you do get a good lobby every now and then but its getting rare. known problems are spawns, lag and minor hit detection flaws.

Thinking back, MW2 was mostly campers and snipers (and tubers), but that was still an extremely enjoyable game.

Would you guys say it's worth the price of the game for occasional playing?

Matter of opinion really I think so but the maps were more made for Ground War and thats only available on XBONE right now, 360 got shafted on that front. the new maps from the first DLC are smaller and more fun (geared more toward Rushers/Run&Gun) but IMHO yes it is

That actually reminded me! Something I wanted to ask about was map structure. One of the things that truly ruined MW3 and BO2 for me was the small, cluttered, unorganized maps. Because of this, accuracy and precision took a back seat to luck, hit detection, and reaction time; I thoroughly enjoyed MW2 because accuracy and map/gun knowledge were often more important.

So is this another game with small chaotic maps filled with clutter and 10 enterences to every obstical, or are they more thought out?

More like large maps with lots of lines of sight and open areas as well as cluttered areas.
