Haven't played Call of Duty in quite a long time, how does it compare to COD4 and MW2? I haven't played any after that =[

Edit: I think someone corrected me before, but stopping power on a fal doesn't actually do extra damage? Can someone confirm?

Mw3: was good
Black ops 2: sucks
Ghost: sucks

The CoD after MW2 (BO1) is considered the worst CoD in the franchise by a lot of people, so you left at a good time. Also, BO1/MW3/BO2 all have worse lag comp and hit detection compared to CoD4/MW2.

Ghosts has great connection and hit detection, so it's similar to MW2. Getting shot around corners sucks though, plus there is other bullshit in the game, but at least someone with good reactions and premium internet isn't getting punished for it.

Tbh if i were you i would just find a new game instead of trying a new cod

Haha..what I find entertaining is I play SnD, which has imo the most tryhard people using amplify and riot shields consistently, and I've maintained a 2.6 KDR and about a 3.75 WL over the 4 days played and have yet to even equip the amplify perk. I don't even think I'm that good, but some people just don't know how to play Ghosts. I rush so much and do well, and people try it, fail, then give up and play methodical, but when you're playing methodical you're generally not twitching and on the ball, so reactions can be lower and you can get caught off guard easier. I think if more people saw the larger maps as an opportunity to rush, rather than use an AR, then they might have a better time.
