Whats the consensus? Worth buying?

Ghosts isn't about Small run and gun maps. Most of the maps are huge and you die insanely fast. No overpowered killstreaks like the past games.

in my opinion, long range weapons thrive in this game. (probably because of the maps). i tried running around with a shotgun last night and it was annoying trying to get close enough with such open map layouts. i'd recommend an AR/marksman rifle for nearly every situation. even in close quarters, it seems smg's perform the same as AR's

If I could go back, I wouldn't buy it.
Maps are way too big, shitty perk system and crap guns
die almost instantly ( 1-2 bullets everytime )
but i get hitmarkers all the time upperbuddy ( ?? doesnt make sens )

black ops 2 was way better honnestly

I like it. Hit detection is good. The maps allow you to outplay people with very few locations to head glitch (some maps having none). The guns do kill quickly because the hit detection is good and life should likely be increased. Spawns are strange at times but I'm sure that will be patched soon since the last three CoD games needed it.

i only play extincation mode on it. i love it but its getting old fast. iso map pack so i can get a new map/mode

It seems they have balanced the streaks compared to previous cods. Assault isn't always going to be the go to streak anymore. I think my only issue with this is the low health. It feels like I'm playing hardcore all the time.

Its not a bad cod, but like every cod, its always the same thing. It get boring after few weeks/months. And i dont like the fact that leveling doesnt do anything. Its all about squad points. But i realy like the safeguard mode. Its like survival but harder. Extinction is not bad, but its too easy for the moment ( i hope they add new features/challenges/mode to extinction ).
If you didnt liked the previous cod, i dont recommend. If you did like the previous ones, and dont regret buying those, then it worth it i guess.

My first cod was mw3. I played everyday for hours without getting bored.
Then i bought bo2. Was bored after 3 months.
And finally i bought ghost. Did no lifing for the first week then never played online again :p.
