I can't find a source, but I could've sworn I heard this somewhere. All the google searches are old, so I assume this might have been a new feature around when they reverted drm, etc.

dnt think its backwards compatible
although id ask the xbox forum they know more then me

keep your xbox360 if u wannna play old games :D

No backwards compatibility on either console. You will have to download old games onto your system from marketplace, if you want to play something from a previous console.

The one loophole is that the Xbox one has an HDMI input. You can plug your 360 into that and use it. However, you won't be able to put your 360 disc directly into the Xbox one and play a game.
