CoD4 doesn't have very good gun balance when it comes to SP and Jugg. Jugg is annoying as hell. Martyrdom sucks. A lot of the maps are too dark.. a lot of the maps don't have good flanks. I do like the simple scorestreaks though. The situational sound is bad when it comes to elevation. The general direction is ok, but MW2 is superior.

Never played WaW, but it looks clunky as hell.

MW2 would be the perfect CoD if tubers and deathstreaks were removed. I can handle commando users, so that doesn't bother me. The SMGs could use some variety, but the ARs are all really good. I don't mind the OP secondaries, but I can see people getting annoyed by them. I'd be fine with secondaries similar to MW3.

BO1 introduced the bad lag comp. The animation was choppy, sub-60fps. Bad hit detection. They nerfed soundwhoring (they also introduced a bomb plant noise for whatever reason). They nerfed dropshotting. They fucked up the angle of wall penetration.. They fucked up the balance of ghost. The blackbird was OP imo, but not a deal breaker. The maps had no flanks whatsoever. Thinking of SnD Jungle for example makes me want to throw up. They introduced the motion sensor. They removed fast climb from marathon, so climbing over shit was risky as hell. I did like BO1's combat record, but that's about it. They introduced an explosive damage delay, so spawn nades were useless on smaller maps. I'm sure there's more.

MW3 used to have really bad connection, but they patched it. The striker and the akimbo fmgs used to be OP as fuck, but they patched them. I used to hate assassin and portable radars, but with the addition of the specialist package I was able to work around it. I personally don't have a problem with recon..although a lot of people hate it. I think ex conditioning is required for map control over recon on a lot of maps. Recon is just OP on fallen SnD. It's kind of needed to break out of Dome. MW3 was a really good all-around CoD until they patched sitrep pro, which totally ruined the game.
