just got the ps3 wireless headset, the 100$ pair and not the newest ones.


after about having them for 3-4 days im kinda noticing some things i dont really like about them

what do you guys think about em? would any of you suggest anything else for a good ps3 headset

i keep seein people talkin about the px21's


also do any of you have the newest playstation brand ones? are they really worth the extra 50$?

1st- why in cod series subforum ?
2th- i have the px21 and its pretty good, ok its not wireless... But who care... Its 16 feet long and the sound is great, mic is good, ive got them for 1 year and i didnt had any problem ( maybe sometime a lil bug and poeple will hear a wierdnsound in my mic so i just turn then off and turn them back on... But i think thats only my headset problem :/)
3th- also, they are not expensive

honesly, i stay away from wireless. theyre a pain to keep batteries in even if u recharge them. I had several turtle beaches back in like cod4/waw. Then i got the tritton ax pros with their mixamp and i like them fine. If you mess with the sound settings theyre great. But from experience it is very difficult to beat the siberia v2s with an astro mixamp.

I'll just tell you one thing, his headset has 7.1, yours doesn't. Right there we know why px21 aren't good.

uh why not in the cod series subforum? headsets are very relevant to cod and id bet that the majority of the people buying gaming headsets are using them for cod

i am kinda feelin like i might just save up for a 2-300$ pair or maybe just upgrade to the 150$ pair that has the bass control. I feel like the bass on these headphones can be overwhelming and you cant adjust it at all. sounds dumb but all the reviews i read on these stated the surround sound on them is sub par and i kind of agree.



i am really feeling this way about wireless too, cause i also know the more i use them the worse a full charge will be and pretty soon ill have to be constantly recharging them. Im thinking i want something with a mixamp

ya wireless also has a different sound that i do not like. And when looking into mics, if youre going to use them for xbox only i know xbox use to only support up to 5.1, maybe xbox has updated or the next box will be able to run 7.1 but i would look into it
