what is the best way to get kills with this POS.....

hardcore is impossible on this game...

I did it painstakingly in hardcore KC. Takes a bit of camping, small maps with tight corners (Hijacked was the best since I could just run under the tunnel), and a lot of patience.

In the past you could put your shield down, put a shock charge on it, and then pick it back up. Sadly no more.

In the past you could play HC FFA, where it was quite easy to get behind people with the riot shield. Sadly no more.


Now, I would just recommend your favorite game type with a stun grenade, fast hands, and scavenger. Once they're stunned it's easy to kill, then pick up scav pack for another stun.

Doesn't everyone use Tac mask, though? Or did that phase pass?

It's quite rare on Xbox (imo), depending on the game type...

You'll almost never see it on Kill Confirmed, which is where I got my shield gold (since when you pick up the scav pack, you're picking up a tag too, so it's helping the team. Plus you can focus on just killing since it's not objective based)

But on other types like Hard Point or that other one where people crowd around small areas, tac mask + flak jacket are much more common.


e/ Now that you mention it, it was much more common at some point, so ya, phase must've passed.


e2/ @OP, I do recommend Kill Confirmed for getting the shield gold for reasons stated above.
