Hello guys. So I was wondering what's the most best things available for gaming?

- Headset
- Recording
- Controller
- Monitor
- Et cetera

Thank you for your opinions, should you decide to give them :)

- Steel Series Siberia v2 with astro mixamp
- El Gato
- SCUF / Wired Xbox 360 Controller. SCUF is only worth it if you play competitive IMO. I wouldn't waste the money otherwise
- I have 2x ASUS 24" 2ms Monitors, works like a charm

- headset - whatever, but the astro mixamp is awesome for recording your own voice
- recording - el gato, good for live streaming and consistent, also good for voice recording
- controller, scuf or sabertooth, both have back paddles for jumping/knifing, plus both have option for bottom button sprint feature
- monitor, i use 2x 23" asus, so anything works fine as long as it has the hdmi ports
- et cetera, i like having one fps freek on my right joystick, plus i think domed joysticks are better for accuracy
- et cetera, i also have had great success using sony vegas as my editing program

I don't record or youtube so I will only comment on the things I use and like. And most of what I'm saying has been stated. Soooo...

For what it's worth:

- Astros if you want to spend the money, if not, Beaches do just fine.
- Scuf is definitely the way to go. Wired or wireless, competitive or not. Just makes gaming more fun, imo.
- And the Kontrol Freaks. I use one on my right stick as well. No real use on the left for me, but I do have friends that use on both. I'm not partial to domed or concave. I use both depending on which xbox I'm playing on in my house.

i had zero problems with my component hdpvr. worked perfect. i had to switch to hdpvr2 for the hdmi once i switched to a monitor instead of tv. i've had problems with getting random green frames and interlacing. i will definitely be getting an el gato sometime this year.

Just go to amazon or *** and filter your search starting with most expensive.. That usually narrows things down a bit.
