I'm a bit amazed, as I've been doing pretty good like this so far. 11/0 in SnD, average 45/10 in KC, with 20-40 Confirms.

Seems like taking the sound out removes a lot of the focus into the game. Some people play way better when drunk or high, I think it's along the lines of the same thing.
