what do you mean your screen flickers?

do you have 1080 selected in ur display settings? because the hdpvr will only go up to 720

are you like 80 years old? do you seriously not know how to use google/youtube to problem solve?

first of all, are you using the reg hdpvr or hdpvr2?

if your screen is flickering then i'm guessing you're going through a converter? does the converter use a power source? are you using components to hdmi? if you switch to just hdmi to hdmi without a converter the flickering will be gone.

also, make sure your console is set to 720 and you won't get interlacing if that's a problem.

so it's flickering with just an hdmi to hdmi cord? do you have any other high quality hdmi cables in your house that you can just test out since the ones that come with the hdpvr2 are pretty cheap.

if that doesn't fix it, then i'm still guessing the flickering has to do with your power source or maybe your monitor's refresh rate.
