i wanna get a new laptop to do a lil bit og gaming if i want to... amy some cod and d3 games like that

what kinda should i get? and i dont wanna spend 2k... most i think i would dish out atm is like 1k

im looking at dells but im wondering if the intel hd gfx card or the intel hd 4000 gfx card is good enough to run most games or would i need something better?

Honestly I don't think you need any of that, I run D3 perfectly fine with a cheap laptop that I bought for school, lmao.

better off buying a desktop 4 gaming

My take on a desktop. You get so much more out of a desktop than a laptop.
