'Hard'? I can see why you might think that, but at the same time it encourages camping. You might think it forces you to move, but it in fact makes me camp the tags. I personally am an active tag collector, but at the same time I get punished for collecting as well. SnD awards those that truly know how to play the game mode. SnR negates spawn nades and spawn snipes, because the tags are instantly collected. I love SnD, because I know how to use my one and only life. Once SnD comes back on Friday I have no intention of playing SnR ever again.
Regarding OP, there have been 1/2/3 kill shot guns in every CoD. The damage drop over range, angle of impact and material strength are the only things that have changed. I don't consider the kill time to be that different. I think the reason it seems that way is because so many people are camping with their sights up.
