Hey can someone help me with MTU (Maximum Transmit Unit) on my router? I was fiddling with my settings looking for something that may help me lag less on BO2 and I stumbled onto MTU size of my wireless router.
Currently set to 1,500. I tried setting it to 1,000 yesterday for the hell of it and it seemed to help me play better. This may have been a placebo effect though IDK...
I've done some searching and reading online and found this table which states I shouldn't even have been able to connect to Xbox with an MTU byte size of 1,000. Not sure what to think now... Please help.
