But if the classic weapons are the stronger ones, giving advantage to players who spend their life on cod over people who play casually is a stupid idea

A kid who plays 12 hours a day vs someone who plays 12 hours a month makes no difference to the game developer. Each of them paid for the game, they both put the same amount of money in the developer's pockets. Not talking about buying DLC.

If someone wants to spend $$$ or all their time to get some legendary helmets and armor that does nothing different other than make them look like Barney or Chtulu, then so be it.

If you want to be rewarded over other players for your time in, play a game like Diablo, or any MMO on the market.

Its straight up pay to win. That is simply unacceptable

You wouldn't believe how many times I've laid half a clip into someone in games like AW, but get killed in like 2-3 bullets because they panic shot me and kill me, even though I hit them first... all because they found a +damage/rate of fire variant of the same gun I'm using.

I'm sure half this forum has endless stories of this happening to them as well.

Also... sure, you can crush some random shitty casual player if they have the super gun... but now put that overpowered variant in the hands of someone who already knows how to play CoD well, potentially better than you... you won't stand a chance anymore.
