What are things you choose to not use, even if it puts you at a disadvantage?

My first CoD was MW2 and two things I always hated dying to were akimbo models and commando, so ever since then I never really used them out of principle. Akimbo models have since been patched, so they're pretty crappy, and I've since purchased a headset, so commando users sound like elephants, but that's when I naturally developed my CoD moral compass.

Things I don't/won't use:

MW2 - akimbo rangers, commando, care package, ump (for the most part), tubing (i spawn tube a single tube on rundown SnD defense, but that's it), RPGs
BO1 - ghost, motion sensor, care package, rc car, i don't get mad when i die to a famas and don't consider it game-breaking
MW3 - portable radar, sitrep, akimbo rmgs, striker, usas, care package, stalker, recon (for the most part. if i get stunned/flashed, i'm probably going to die anyway, even if i wasn't recon'd), ballistic vests
BO2 - fal, target finder, mms, shock charges, rc car, LMGs, svu, i didn't use remington/tac for a while, but eventually snapped..so cheap, but sometimes i rage and use them, amplify+dead silence
Ghosts - remington, amplify, stalker, riot shield, IED, motion sensor, LMGs
AW - i don't play this game, but when i did i didn't use BAL pre-patch, tracker drones

morality in a first person shooter doesn't exist, you win or you lose. if it's allowed in a ruleset and you don't use it that's your choice. me personally even if for some reason i decide to accept somebodys match with that shit enabled unless im trolling i don't use it because it wastes space on a class and im too lazy to change my classes for a match and plus i just play like the standard classes, but if you accept a match with that shit enabled and you cry about it thats your own fault, if you are playing a pub and die to it thats your own fault for joining a public lobby, pretty idiotic to expect the rest of the planet to revolve around you instead of just making changes in your play venue yourself.

Mostly play mw3, but a lil bo2.
Mw3
Weapons: ACR, Type 95, M16, Striker, and mp7. I predominately won't use them. Too OP. The thing behind that isn't just I don't like OP cause it makes things boring, it also prevents skill development.
In general I only am bothered by people who camp with AR's, SMG's, and Shotties. I understand not wanting to run around with slow as snipers and LMG's. Though hard-scoping is pretty lame. At least watch several routes if you're going to camp with these.
I do feel assassin pro is massively OP, but the other perks are rather shitty in comparison, and UAV's go off almost non-stop in TDM. So you really can't get around using it if you want to be stealthy and do run and gun.
While I don't like the mp7 cause of OP, I also don't like the way it handles as well. The iron sight is pretty gay.. The lack of a pointed tip is my real gripe.
Then the ACR. A gun that fires .762, kills in 3-4 shots while silenced at 100 yards is BS. There is next to no recoil on it. (I get it was designed that way with the spring coil in the stock, but there's ways that could be compensated to make it less OP) Then the fire rate. It has a substantially high rate of fire vs the other .762 AR's. Nerf it, or remove it.

BO2: Most of the stuff I find BS can be gotten around rather easily. Target finders may be the biggest gripe among any COD player, so it's not a surprise to mention it. But like I said, it's easy to get around. Same with shock chargers and any other detection triggered devices. The scar is exceptionally strong, but it doesn't have high end accuracy like that of the ACR. But it's still a tad OP. The SMG's are well balanced, no real issues there.
All in all, I don't have many gripes for this game.

Sitrep in MW3 is an audible 24-7 VSAT. Even in a video game, I'm not that big of a dumpster baby to use such a perk. If you can take pride in sitrep win, then I envy you. It opens up the possibility to enjoy a lot more wins, so that must be super fun for you.

Yeah sitrep pro with turtle beaches or any decent headset was ridiculous. Even with dead silence on. It was absolutely ridiculous. Sounded like a rhino running around. It was fun for maybe a few games and then you realize how cheap it is. Having to crouch across the entire map to counter it was just stupid
