A lot of people who use it claim to rush with it, but even if you're rushing and 180 someone who you otherwise wouldn't have heard, then it's cheap. It's one thing to punish someone not using dead silence by soundwhoring.. but this is something different.
It's not like Dead Silence does anything for you anyways, even with it on you can still hear yourself run over most surfaces.
