I don't have much experience with the LMG's, so I really can't argue. However, I've noticed a very favorable difference in the HAMR while using Grip.

So maybe not all LMGs, but I definitely recommend it for at least the HAMR.

In this video @ 6:15 it shows grip actually adding recoil. it's a placebo, m8.
