Usually in the end with a headset setup, the Mixamp for the setup is ultimately the mastermind behind what sound you get through your speakers anyway.

You can take a PC stereo headset and use it with 7.1 via an Astro Mixamp connected with a toslink. I just prefer the drivers for the A40s because they have good mids.

I disagree, they break with ease. The right side kept cutting out after a certain period of time. Next time I used them, the entire left side snapped and it's just hanging from a wire now.

300 bux for that triton jesus. Ya ill stick with something a bit less expensive beings as all the computer headsets ive had tend to be flimsy as crap and break 3 months later.

There's a good chance that if you take care of things that you buy, they won't break as long as they have good build quality.
