How Come It's 2014 And - Topic

Id rather play in my home theater on a big ass screen where i can also just switch to my tv and start watching a movie or just a serie automaticly while sitting on a couch, than being on a small chair sitting just next to a 24" cheap screen, using a headset cause too poor to have speakers everywhere in your basement.

Small screen are not "better" than big screens for fps, all you have to do is get used to it.

they are better fps than tv's it's not a matter of opinion lol.

also i can watch tv on my monitor and it's a 24 in 1080p 2ms response time i can swap back and forth between pc/xbox/tv

By the way, Monitors a proven to be better FOR playing games.
Whether you're a casual or a hardcore gamer you will notice a difference when playing on a monitor versus a TV.
Input lag, shitty pixel density and response time are reasons why playing games on TV's isn't up to par.
Yea, Some peoples preference is to lay on their bed or sit on their couch to play games, immersing themselves with a Surround System and a Big Screen..
Personally I used to be like that but I switched to 23.6" ASUS Monitors, with a Top of line headset. Why because it was more convenient for my household. With a headset you don't shake the house during a epic cinematic, like with a Surround System.
Since I switched I definitely would recommend using a Monitor and Headset for gaming. In the long run it's usually more expensive to go monitors, headset, and a chair that you can sit in for the hours of gaming you are about to do, but in the end its worth it.

Elgato sits on the side ontop of my PC ~ All I have to do is change inputs on my monitor to get TV / fast pc

lol at the people saying smaller is better, it is to a point.
smaller screens have higher pixel density compared to a larger screen with same resolution, but that all changes pending how far back you sit.
the reason smaller screens are better for gaming is based only on the fact that when staring at the middle of the screen you can see the whole entire screen without moving your eyes and that is only reason why a smaller screen is better, or i will say preferred by most gamers. you can argue all you want about pixel density but that truely doesn't matter until you get into screens that are greater than 40" while sitting 4' away from screen.
and monitors are only better because of the response time. and monitors are more expensive because you will probably have a tv to watch movies on and cable, because who wants a 24" screen to watch movies on when laying in bed.
but pointless topic is pointless.
