Am I the only one who played previous CoDs? The kill time in Ghosts isn't drastically different. I could list countless examples of the kill speeds of previous games, but the fact is most guns throughout the franchise kill in 3 bullets or less. I personally die more in close quarters than I do at long range, so the damage drop over range doesn't come into play that much, so there are just a lot of 3 shot deaths. Once people learn the routes and maps, they will expect to see people instead of getting caught sprinting. People need to learn how to dropshot, jumpshot, and when to go for the knife. People need to use perks like ready up, quickdraw, and/or steady aim..they need to learn when to hipfire or when to ADS or strafe..

I agree with all of this besides the short range part. I seem to be getting longshots with iron sighted AR's in Ghosts that I've never been able to get in previous cod's. The kill time seems fine to me. I just think AR's all around need more recoil to make SMG's worth putting on a class (K7 is the exception)

CoD4 had the M16. MW2 had the Famas. 1-burst guns have been around, so the MSBS isn't anything new imo. The ACR existed in both MW2/MW3. Regarding the other ARs..besides the remington and kind of the honeybadger/ak12, the other ARs have recoil. I think the issue here is actually how strong the ARs while hipfiring. I'd be happy if they patched the spread to be a little more sporadic.

I've spotted your SMG problem, bro..the mtar is the best SMG in every aspect. Put a red dot and ex mags on it. It doesn't need grip, because the recoil is non-existent, plus the range is amazing and doesn't need long barrel.
