My parents are wealthy..money wasn't an issue. Most of us were busy talking about N64/PS at that time. Not sure why you're judging me, because I do lots of nerdy things nowadays. My favorite tv show is red dwarf and I can name every pro korean scbw player by gt, name, race and team by looking at their picture. I was referring to my 10 year old viewpoint at the time. The 3 kids who brought their binders of cards to school were stereotypically nerdy and introverted..that's not 'every kid'. I didn't say I actually called them nerds, teased them or gave them wedgies..
I also thought barney was lame when I was 4 and also thought power rangers were lame when I was 6. I liked ninja turtles and x-men.
I think the main reason might have been because I was probably just trying to emulate my older brother's tastes in what was 'cool/sweet'.
I'm 5 years older than you btw.
