How is this surprising, HC has less people playing than core. The fact that core has more options suggests it is more popular.

More players is generally better, but "better" is just a matter of opinion... Maybe you prefer less people.

Core requires better accuracy. Also, anyone who plays both knows there's more camping in hardcore..this isn't subjective.

There's definitely a learning curve to do well in hardocre..learning appropriate route timings and good prenades/wallbangs. I just prefer fast-paced games where turning on someone is an option.

People will spend a majority of their time playing the one they think is better. More players in the game type suggests more people think it is better. This forum isn't incredibly active and very few prefer HC.

I think that hardcore is a nice change when you're bored lol but I definantlly prefer core over it just about an day.
