I honestly do wish Battlefield was a decent game, then I'd actually have something else to play . Unfortunately as already started by others, it's far to slow and vehicle heavy to be considered a worth while game. Sniping in it does make much more sense, with the speed of the COD games it would make sniping completely pointless, maps are far to small for a realistic sniper to really be an option. Making the maps bigger isn't an option either seeing as that would take away from the consistent speed of the game (which is the reason I play it lol) . Anyways though, each fan is entitled to enjoy his own franchise. No one game will cater to each individuals personal needs.
